Why “Dervesh” !!!
A”Dervesh” (registered as ‘dervish‘ in English language), is a member of any of various Muslim ascetic orders, some of which perform whirling dances and vigorous chanting as acts of ecstatic devotion.They practice a fast form of rotation – its purpose is to induce a ‘religious trance’ – so that wherever you turn you see the face of God.
Perhaps this is the stage called ‘ecstasy‘, where you feel your spirit soaring heaven yet completely grounded as your feet is in constant touch with floor…
…………….some people attain this ‘ecstasy‘ though the medium of writing.
Our Blog ‘Dervesh’ is a tribute to our “Murshid’s”….the modern-day “Derveshis“…
